For over 15 years, we have been giving life back to the Christmas tree.

The story of Ecosapin began in 2011 in Cottens (Vaud), with a simple idea: why should a Christmas tree be cut down to serve only a few weeks?

Inspired by a concept already developed in North America, farmer Julien Bugnon imagined a more sustainable alternative: offering living Nordmann firs, grown in pots, delivered directly to individuals and businesses, and then picked up after the holidays to continue their growth.

What started as a local initiative quickly became a reference in Switzerland. Year after year, Ecosapin has developed its production and delivery network to offer its trees in most regions of the country, while remaining true to its agricultural roots and original spirit. Today, thousands of trees are rented each year to families, businesses, administrations, and organizations that wish to celebrate Christmas in a more responsible way.

You choose your tree online, we deliver it directly to your home before Christmas, then we come to pick it up after the holidays. No transport, no waste management, no worries: we take care of everything.

Ecological

Our mission is to extend the life of the trees.

After their stay with you, they return to the fields to continue growing and can be rented out for several years. The trees that can no longer continue this cycle are valued, in order to limit waste and preserve resources. This approach offers a concrete alternative to the single-use cut Christmas tree.

Ecosapin is a Swiss agricultural company, born in Cottens.
